Racoon is a 16-month-old powderpuff. His owner was moving and could not take him and his friend Girly Girl. They do not have to be adopted together, but he would love it if you consider it since he really trusts her. He is a bit shy but loves to snuggle up on your lap. He has been around other dogs and gets a little stressed at big dogs. He still has some puppy in him and loves to play and chase balls around the house. He also loves running around the yard, but doesn't care to be left alone - he will sit by the gate and watch for you.He has been around a young child and is okay, but gets nervous if the child goes after him. He would be best in a home with older kids that understand his shyness. He was never on a leash before and is getting used to it, although he still prefers to be carried! He was used to a doggie door, but is crate-trained now and is still learning about house-breaking. He is doing much better and wears a doggy diaper when he can't be watched. This shy guy is looking for that special someone that wants a lapful of love!
