	Pepper is a very special little boy who has accumulated some medical expenses little-by-little as he has been in foster care. As each condition has presented itself we have addressed it with the thought that he would be 100% healthy and ready to find his new home in no time at all. Unfortunately, Pepper has come across another hurdle and we are trying to raise some funds in hopes of helping this precious little peanut who we feel truly deserves the chance to have a wonderful, healthy, pain-free life with a family who can love and care for him for years to come.
Pepper’s medical issues aside from our basic wellness check and vaccination update have included: A mouth full of rotting teeth in desperate need of cleaning and extractions A heart murmur that needed radiographs for further diagnosing of the disease Nodules in his lungs that we feared might be lung cancer after running tests that ruled out typical infections that it may have been Another set of radiographs to recheck the nodules
	Once his lungs were cleared of their infection and his heart looked healthy enough we proceeded with his much-needed dental only to find a massive bone infection in his jaw that left it fractured when a very badly diseased tooth was removed: Another test to verify infection as opposed to bone cancer and a few rounds of antibiotics and of course pain medication A visit to a specialist to see what to do about his broken jaw Another set of radiographs of his jaws So, now Pepper not only needs a surgery to repair his jaw but will need two-three months of convalescence during which time he will be on continued medications for the bone infection and then another medical procedure to remove the materials used to repair his broken jaw.
Pepper’s medical bills are quickly mounting but we feel he deserves every chance to have a long and pain free life. We hope you will consider sponsoring Pepper and giving this sweet little man the gift of life. Thank you and big licks from Pepper!
